Marketing Yourself and Becoming a Leader

With this article I want to give you an overview of what you should know about marketing. I really want you to get this because it will save you a heck of time in the long run and save you money. I have made the mistakes so you do not need to.

Now I am not going to go into exact science in this article or really talk about marketing your product, we will save that for later and of course there are many great books out there that will really explain in detail any type of marketing you desire.

Marketing is about getting whatever it is out there so the masses have a chance to take a look at it.This might be your product or particularly in the beginning it might be yourself. Yes that is right, Marketing yourself.

You want to start standing out from the noise of all the other similar products or services that your competing against. You will want to become a LEADER. A person that people are attracted to. This particular but crucial element took me a while to get.

Remember a leader is not someone who barks orders all day just intimidating people, no a leader is someone who can inspire people to greatness. A leader will show by example the way to do it and encourage others to do the same.

Now your probably thinking what has this got to do with me selling affiliate programs or cameras or dog products or whatever it may be. Well the word is TRUST, becoming a leader gives your client trust.

Let me tell you that there are two types of people in this world that we trust.

1) someone in authority like a policeman and

2) a friend.

People trust these types and if you can become both, an authoritative friend then bingo, your cash till will forever be ringing. You see once you have their trust then the barriers are down enough so you can build a relationship with them so that they become comfortable in paying you money or joining your program. Once you crack this then the whole game of internet marketing becomes a whole lot easier.

The first thing you can do for yourself to become a leader is just start acting like one take on the mannerisms and behaviour of a leader. Think, talk, walk etc as a leader would, believe me once you start doing this you will start to take actions in your business that correspond with this.

When you become a leader in your mind the rest follows so that when speaking to clients or future customers they know instantly that this guy is a leader. He has a destination, a goal a vision that is bigger than anything they have and of course they will want to follow they will want to buy because they want to be on your path.

Now this is marketing believe it or not its not just about placing adverts in newspapers, its about showing people that you have got what it takes and if they join you or buy your product then they can become like you.

In my next article I will tie in specifics on how to market yourself (branding) along with ways to market your products or services, just remember friends everything in life is as easy or hard as you make it. So decide today that making money online is easy.
