How Can I Escape My Current Dull Job?

Home businesses now abound because the Internet has opened a new land of opportunity for anybody who can unlock its "secrets". In reality the "secrets" are more about perseverance than specialist knowledge; you will have to learn some new skills but these skills are transferable across different businesses. The downside of the internet is that, with so much information comes confusion and many people making over-inflated promises of instant wealth.

We all crave to lose the 9-5 routine, working hard for someone else and making other people wealthy from our efforts. We then think that there must be a better way than just trading your time for money.

Our aim is to make a better life for ourselves where we are in control of what happens. Lets consider the alternatives that you have:

· Change Jobs - this could lead to a higher rate of pay and some temporary happiness but, at the end of the day, you are still trading time for money and making other people wealthy.

· Change careers in the off-line world but you are still suffering from trading time for money.

· Go into Real Estate investing in refurbishment, new build or buy-to-let. To do this realistically you need quite a bit of capital and to make money you need to be able to source properties well below market value which can take quite a bit of work.

· Property sourcing - you could just go for getting a finder's fee but your earnings are totally dependent on finding good deals all the time which would be quite pressurised. You are only as good as the last deal.

· Stocks and Shares - The way the market has behaved over the last 10 years you would have to have had your finger on the pulse to avoid large losses.

· Other investments - Wine, Stamps, Vintage Cars, Precious Metals or fine art. All these need some serious capital to make much money and you need to get specialist knowledge to pick the right investments. You can easily be sold bad investments when you do not know what you are doing.

· Start you own business - this normally requires a lot of cash and time to get the business off the ground. Losses can be incurred for some time, during that period you will be earning nothing.

Have looked at those alternatives you come back to the Internet. A serious internet business can be started with low or modest investment. The return on this small investment can be high, it is not unknown for initial investments of a few hundred pounds to yield six figure returns.

A good way to earn a substantial income on the internet is by selling what is known as big ticket items. Big ticket items are products that are likely to sell for more than a $1,000. These big ticket items can carry high commissions; with the high selling price and high commission not many products have to be sold each month to achieve a good income.

To be successful online you must think like a proper businessman; no business can be successful without a serious investment of time or money. Online it is a serious investment of your time that is need; to grow quicker an injection of cash would obviously help to invest in advertising your new business.

The best advice is to take action and change your life for the better and escape your dull job forever.
