Sometimes, it is about the money; you get what pay for or, in terms of promoting your site online the content is what makes you money. If your site is about your freelance career or your writing career what is a better reason to write better and promote your site than a bit of money? The better you promote the more quality hits you will get and the more likely you will learn to promote your site better.

Sometimes, yes it is about the money. You need to walk a fine line with this one, but by working towards a goal, then you are going to end up getting something: usually money. If you can combine a great content rich website with a small ego and money, then it will work for you, you will be able to create and promote your work in a manner that works for your business.

Below are three reasons to build your site and promote it properly to the rest of the web world.

1) It will make you money in the end if traffic comes to your website or your blog and people click on affiliate programs such as amazon or eBay or Google AdSense or many other affiliate programs. It is about content, the better the content the more likely the traffic will link to your website and you will find new traffic from these links. This linking does take time and energy, but in the end t is up to you and your content and links.

2) You can spend so much money on how to books, but if you do not write good content and insightful articles, you will never get better. One of the challenges of writing better is, writing. The more content you write the better you will become, but this holds true for site promotion by writing online articles and linking to your work, you can learn how to build traffic better and faster. However if your content is not good, then your traffic will not come again.

3) Traffic is traffic, but targeted traffic is the most powerful of all. Say that you are trying to sell a product, now your product is about painting. Then the traffic you need to focus on is the traffic who will go and buy your painting supplies and comment on your site. You will need to focus on forums or other websites who deal in the same topic as you have. When your site is small any traffic is good, but as you promote your site more focus on traffic which will make you money.
