Bringing Traffic to Your Website Or Affiliate Link

I am a huge believer, that a person can make retiring level income on the internet. I am also one of those that have purchased many get rich quick programs that deflated my wallet without any real results. It is a frustrating endeavor when first starting out trying to make your mark and of course the real objective to make an honest living from the comfort of your home.

So why do so many of us fail? We end up going back to our frustrating jobs, living paycheck to paycheck or some of us not working at all due to the sensitive economy. If you were anything like me... I would go home from work, hop on the computer and look at my accounts only to find a big fat 0 for dollars earned that day. Even more frustrating I would go to my (Pay Per Click) advertising campaigns only to find I have spent sometimes $100.00 in a day.

There is huge profit in running campaigns through Google AdWords or Yahoo or any of the other search engines, but the key is getting those ads to show up in the first few pages. Many of us don't know how to get there without spending a fortune on advertising! I have purchased so many programs that will claim to help you get first page landing. I than find I have to keep purchasing other programs to show me how to get from one step to the next. I don't know about you but I was sick of spending my money which I really couldn't afford to part with anyway on people who were out to just take my money without really helping me.

The internet is such a huge market, no wonder why the success rate is so small. There is way too much competition out there! This is an ever growing industry though and there is still a ton of money to be made! The secret is finding ways to make money without spending any. No duh right? Writing blogs or articles through many of the great article directories out there is a good way to start at no cost. Using your own blog through a place like blogger.com also provides you with some very good advice if you are trying to market something! The more articles and blogs you write the better you become. The best part about all of this is it is free. Google loves many of the article directories out there. You can almost search for anything and you will see an article based promotion on the first page. First page would indicate a lot of views at no cost to you. First page views also mean you should get more traffic to your website. Traffic is the key to converting sales right?

The secret to getting your blogs to show up on Google is to write 3 or 4 articles for one particular blog. Making sure your keywords are in the title and in the article body toward the top and once more at the end. Something that helps the most is to create many back links to that blog. Many websites that have comments to post will let you put a url or a blogger site on your post as long as your comments are relevant to to the article you are commenting on. The more websites you create this back link to the quicker Google will recognize your blog or website because there are many back links attached to it.

First make sure your article or blog is unique, this is a Must! I would than add at least 10 back links a day to that article for 15 days. You should start to see your article show up on Google. Not very many people know this simple solution so the sooner you get started the quicker you can start reaping the rewards from this. Another thing to help generate extra income is you can use Google AdSense on a your blog. This is where other people's ads appear on your blog and if anyone clicks on one of those ads you get paid. The best part is it is all free! If you don't like writing blogs you can always have somebody else do it for a pretty small cost, but the goal here is to try and make money and not spend that much. Remember the more views you get the more chances you have for traffic to come to your website or sales page!

Once you have generated some income from these free sources than it would be wise to learn a little bit more about (Pay Per Click) advertising. There is a lot of money to be made here if you learn the ropes on how to do it right.

One last thing I have done some huge research on the most lucrative ways to advertise and believe it or not the internet is not first on the list.
