Once you find your keywords you need to place them strategically throughout your site. Place your keywords in your meta tags, your page title and your page text. Doing so will greatly improve your page ranks in the major search engines. But be aware that your keywords must be related to your content, otherwise you can be penalized or 'Google Slapped" as it is more commonly known.

The next thing to concentrate on is your incoming links. This is the real deal breaker for a new site. Just because you have good keywords is not enough, the search engines must be able to see that other sites are linking to you. This proves that you have something of value to offer and will have a huge impact on your page rank.
