- Uncreative page names. Stand out by not having "contact us" "home" and "products". Put some imagination into your names and catch the attention of your visitors.

- Page titles that are not relevant to page topic. This one is really common, usually the page names are in place before the content and throughout the process a gap arises between the two. Make sure that your "effective methods to train your dog" page is really about great ways to train dogs.

- Jamming meta tags to increase page rank. Meta tags are very important in getting your site indexed by search engines but stuffing them full of everything you can think of will not benefit you. Do your keyword research and put some thought into which tags you choose. You will be better off with a few super keywords than twenty mediocre ones.

- Keyword density. People tend to either not use their keywords throughout site pages or to drench their content with them. Neither one will help to generate traffic or increase page rank. Keep an eye on your keyword density to ensure a good ratio.

Building traffic can be time consuming and but the research and effort will pay off over and over again by delivering traffic to your website.
