What is page rank? Page rank is used by the search engines especially google to rank a website or a blog from 0 to 10. This ranking is based solely by the link popularity of your website. The more website that links to you will make you rank higher in the search engines.

Search engines really have their own set of algorithms on how they rank sites. Google for example updates all page ranks status of every website in a certain period of time, approximately every four months. The more inbound link your site has, the better because the search engine will categorize you as an important site. You can also submit your website to directories and search engines. By doing so, you will add more incoming links to your site resulting to free site visitors. Some directories requires a small fee but mostly are free to submit.

Always remember that page ranking varies on how much effort you will exert when promoting your site. Just remember that your site must have importance to the public. It must give help and knowledge to your readers. This way, you could have more free visitors and increase your page rank naturally.
