Twitter marketing is an extremely powerful strategy to market your business opportunity because it provides you with 100% free traffic and clicks.

However, as quickly as spam has damaged the internet, so has the vast number of users on twitter who are completely unaware of how to properly implement twitter marketing strategies. How often have you seen people tweet things such as, "Make money online" or "Click here to look at this amazing business opportunity!" How often do you have actually click on their links?

In order to be successful with twitter marketing, your primary focus must be on building relationships with your followers. If you constantly spam your followers with offers and products to buy, your reputation with be damaged very quickly and you will be unfollowed by essentially everyone.

When you focus your twitter marketing efforts on relationship building and providing your followers with valuable content, they will begin to see you as a teacher and a mentor. This is extremely important because the more information you simply give away, the easier it is to ask for something in return.

In any relationships there is always a give and take portion. If you focus your twitter marketing on primarily just being a giver as opposed to a taker, your followers will respect you more and will feel more inclined to help you out.

So how do you do this if you are just starting out? You need to constantly study and fill yourself with valuable information so that you can simply just give it away to people. You will become far more attractive than everyone else on twitter because you will stand out as opposed to fitting in with everyone else.
